Local people, in the last couple of years, have been witnessing inter-ethnic tensions that have escalated to such a degree where it is no longer possible to communicate normally with “the others”. Although artificially created and fuelled, these barriers have managed to create prejudices for “the others” that have not even existed before. Local institutions did not manage to deal with this challenge, and some of them have even increased the gap between two major ethnicities in Struga. The young people as especially vulnerable group were easily manipulated and used as tool for deepening the conflicts. The main goal of this project is to give them possibility and to inspire the young people from different ethnic groups from the municipality of Struga to cooperate on joint activities, to develop leadership and communication skills.

Designed and released a video for the basketball team from Macedonia
