"Partnerships for Sustainable Communities"

The main goal of the Grant Programme was to improve the process of decentralization by participatory approach and strengthening of the local partnerships among public and private sector in the Municipality of Struga.
Within this programme nine projects were financially supported ranging from 5000$-15000$. The projects were implemented in the following spheres: economic, social, cultural, urban and ecological. The priority was given to projects that were implemented in partnerships: NGO-Municipality, NGO-private company, NGO-Municipality – private company, Municipality – private company etc.
Each of the applicants was obliged to provide minimum 20% self contribution.
The selection was made through 3 phases, including local selection committee that consisted of representatives from both public and private sector.
