Guidelines: Rural Tourism - From Idea To Realization

About the project:
About the project: Jablanica region has very huge potential for developing environmental-friendly tourism with its great geographical position, rich cultural heritage, natural resources and pleasant climate. Huge unemployment in the villages in the Jablanica Mountain is great challenge in this region. The poverty is influencing the locals, and they rather leave the villages. The development of environment-friendly forms of tourism will have double effect: on sustaining the environment and on developing local economy.

The locals and the families that have emigrated in the town, are still not aware of the potential their native villages have. In order to raise their awareness about all the possibilities that alternative tourism offers, we believe it is important to create guidelines and trainings on how to start a rural tourism business.
