"Entrepreneur - to be or not to be? - the schools and businesses for responsible entrepreneurship"

About the project:
Entrepreneurship is very popular topic in Macedonia. Wellbeing and success on both individual and collective level are very much related with the entrepreneurial spirit and skills necessary to become self-employed or to start a business. The main goal of this project is to improve the quality of the entrepreneurship education in vocational high schools in Ohrid and Struga, by organizing workshops with teachers and students and cooperation with business community.

May – September 2015
Partners:
High School “Sv.Kiril I Metodij” from Ohrid and Club Soroptimist Struga
Results:
  • Organized competition for most innovative socially responsible business, among 4 teams from different high schools
  • Strengthened entrepreneurial skills among 40 students from all over Macedonia
  • Realized 8 workshops on following topics: proactivity, analytical and creative thinking, financial literacy, budget management, communication skills, team work and leadership
  • Implemented educational visits to private companies and entrepreneurs at least 5 local successful business people
