Certificate Award Ceremony for the participants on “Green Academy”

Certificate Award Ceremony for the participants on “Green Academy” was held on 21st of February 2013. The Ambassador Wohlers has awarded the Certificates. The Academy was being held from October 2012 until February 2013 and was composed from trainings and study trips related with environment, energy efficiency and climate changes. The Academy was first phase from the project “Adopt a Park” which aims to raise awareness among young people about the environmental challenges of Macedonia; increase the level of personal responsibility on the part of young people; and improve the urban areas with concrete eco actions. Project is supported by US Embassy in Macedonia through Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund, and is implemented by the project team of State Department Alumni from Macedonia. Partners in the project are: Local Development Agency - Struga, high-schools “Niko Nestor”, “Ibrahim Temo”, “5th Private Gymnasium” and “Private College Yahya Kemal” from Struga.
